Snap crackle and popping my way into Monday. Are you a rice crispy fan? If the answer is YES, keep reading. I made these out of sheer craving the other day and the result is beyond tasty. Ingredients are super simple and dare I say healthy as a rice crispy can get. I love marshmallows as much as the next kid but let’s be honest, they aren’t the healthiest snack (no judgement, I eat them too!). PEANUT BUTTER HEMP CRISPY TREATS 1 cup peanut butter (I used runny organic) (plus more for topping) 7 tbsp maple syrup (local organic) 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp vanilla Pinch salt 1/4 cup hemp seeds (plus more for topping) 4 cups puffed rice Melt Pb and maple syrup and coconut oil in microwave or stovetop. Add in vanilla and pinch of salt. Mix mix. In a large bowl add puffed rice. Pour Pb mixture over top and stir to combine. Add in hemp seeds last and stir to coat evenly. Transfer to a parchment lined 8by8 pan and press firmly. Drizzle more Pb, a sprinkle more sea salt and hemp seeds to finish!
