Blood Orange Tofu Skewers anyone? I don’t know about you guys but I am soaking up every last drop of these beautiful oranges as I know the season won’t last forever. I served the tofu over a very simple fried rice with peas, mushrooms and red pepper and of course blood orange. The sauce is baked into the tofu and then painted over them to finish. Whatever sauce is leftover went straight into the rice♥️ BLOOD ORANGE TOFU 2 tbsp blood orange 1/4 cup tamari 1 clove garlic 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp sriracha 1 tsp cornstarch Whisk ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Drain and press tofu, pat it dry and cut into sticks. Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Stick skewer into tofu and place on sheet. Paint sauce on all sides of tofu and place in oven. Bake for 20, turn, paint with sauce again and bake for 10 more minutes. Once fully cooked paint with sauce on all sides once more. Serve on top of rice or noodles or salad.
